Some British music - White Lies
Ever since I heard them in 2009 I have been in love with that English band. They are really great live (I have seen them three times and I want more! :D).

Cliffs of Moher
One of the most amazing places which I have had a chance to visit are Cliffs of Moher. They are situated near Doolin - a village on the west coast of Ireland. If you are lucky to be there on a sunny day - you will be able to admire this nature's wonder in its full beauty.
If you have no car, you can get there by bus http://www.buseireann.ie/ (plan yout trip well, as the bus stopping right next to cliffs does not run often). The view - priceless.
During my stay there I experienced a breathtaking adventure of walking 8 km from Doolin to the visitors' centre, taking an illegal path right next to the cliffs' edge. Risky but unforgettable.

Tips for a foreigner living in Cyprus
- Get a car. If you cannot get one - don't even think of using your bike without wearing a helmet or walking without a flashlight. If you manage to find a bike lane or a sidewalk - make use of it, it is your lucky day ;)
- Be ready to meet different creatures on your way. Stray cats, rats, hornets - that is waiting for you outdoors. At home you may ONLY meet one or two cute cockroaches once in a while (provided that you live in a new building - otherwise you may have even more guests :)).
- Watch your weight - 24/7 bakeries with delicious pastries and desserts will have no mercy.
- Don't count on public transport, especially if you plan to get somewhere after 7PM.
- Don't be surprised when inside the bus you are being taken to fuel at a petrol station. Pretend that it is normal.
- If you are a blonde girl - you might wanna consider buying a dark wig, especially useful while walking (unless you enjoy beeping, of course). You have to know that a pedestrian is something really exotic in Cyprus. Now you can imagine how much more exotic must be a blonde female pedestrian :)
- Go to the beach in 'winter'. It guarantees that you will avoid not only noisy tourists, but also Cypriots, for whom 20°C is freezing cold. Isn't lovely to have almost the whole beach for yourself? ;)
- While in Nicosia be prepared to see a 'nice' decoration of a mountain. Two Turkish flags, out of which one flashing at night.
Finland's music treasures
Many people know the quality of Finnish music. Mostly thanks to gothic rock and metal bands, such as: HIM, Nightwish, Sonata Arctica, Amorphis and many more. However, not everybody knows that Finland is a homeland of many good alternative rock/ pop bands. Here is my selection of 'best of' them (all I had pleasure to see live).
Delay Trees
Zebra and Snake
Magenta Skycode
Delay Trees
STOCKERS!
Burning Hearts

A bit on an emigrant's life
Nowadays many people live a life of an emigrant (and immigrant at the same time). I am one of them myself. Having lived in different countries and having met people, who share the same experience made me realize how hard it is sometimes. It is so great to explore different countries, search for the best place to be - but is there a perfect place? I believe not. With every new place we explore - we gain new knowledge, experiences and friends. It adds value to our life. On the other hand, however, it also makes us miss each and every of those places, once we are gone. Each place we live in becomes our new home. And home is a place which you are always going to miss in one way or another - whether it is a home-made dinner cooked by your mum, a smile of your best friend, or a park where you used to go and chill out after a lecture.
